Project Manager (Electronics Manufacturing)

Location: Fremont, CA 94539

Schedule: 1st Shift

Position Length: 5 Months

Pay Rate: $55-$60/hour


Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to serve as the Voice of the Customer (VOC) and support customer programs from quotation through production. This role works cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Sales, and Account Management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting quality and customer expectations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as primary point of contact for assigned customer programs
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and action items
  • Lead Customer Focus Team (CFT) meetings and maintain action trackers
  • Monitor schedules, production commitments, and key performance metrics
  • Identify and resolve issues impacting cost, quality, or delivery
  • Communicate internal and customer metrics (OTD, quality, inventory, E&O, etc.)
  • Support contract reviews, MSAs, and end-of-life (EOL) activities
  • Drive Excess & Obsolete (E&O) mitigation plans with customers
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, quality systems, and 5S standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 6-8+ years of experience as a Project or Program Manager in an electronics manufacturing environment (ECM preferred)
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel skills required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
